Magazine Genre Research 4 SHAPE

I observed another 'Shape' magazine due to it being around the things that I would like to add to my project which is health a fitness, I'm thinking of doing sports related things also or outdoor hobbies. The front of the magazine is of a young woman wearing form fitting clothes and has a natural look to her so show she is beautiful the way she is. The background is neutral colors to fit the palette that is pleasing to the eye. The text pops out red on this soft colored background and many fonts are used like bold and cursive. Within the magazine there are many articles that are for healthy food and how to keep healthy skin and body. Also, many of the ads are health a beauty related it consists of, hair products, makeup, healthy pet food, clothes, and healthy food/snacks. There is a wide range of articles but they all relate to health a youth. The images shown are of natural food and models trying cosmetics, as well as self-care things like meditation or fitness. They appear to an audience of people who seek a way to stay young and healthy so possibly a mid-range age group rather than younger people, also most likely women. Circulation of this magazine sits at around 2,500,00 but is growing everyday. The magazine has won some awards in women's health and is one of the top women's magazines.
